Construite à l’origine au 18ème siècle,  la maison sans vis-à-vis se trouve sur un chemin communal, ancienne voie de communication entre Gourdon et Sarlat au Moyen-Age. Elle est placée sur une propriété d’environ 4 ha constituée de prairies et de forêts. 

Elle est composée, au rez-de-chaussée, d’un salon, d’une salle à manger donnant sur la terrasse , d’une cuisine équipée  (réfrigérateur, lave-vaiselle, lave-linge, micro-onde, four et plaque à gaz),  et d’un cabinet de toilette et à l’étage de 4 chambres équipées de moustiquaires aux fenêtres (3 avec literie en 140 cm, et 1 avec literie en 90), une salle de bain, un cabinet de toilette, une petite terrasse accessible depuis 2 des chambres. Notez que vous pouvez nous demander de configurer une des chambres en chambre avec literie en 90, ou bien en chambre de bébé.  

Les draps, serviettes de toilettes, torchons, etc. sont fournis et compris dans le prix de la location.


A l’extérieur vous trouverez sur la grande  terrasse une table de jardin avec ses chaises en bois, un parasol orientable, un barbecue à charbon Weber (type Boule) et des fauteuils relax. 

Nous mettons également à disposition gratuitement une tente 4 places (decathlon arpenaz 4.1 fresh and black) que vous pourrez installer.

Pas de piscine…travaillant dans le domaine de l’eau, nous pensons qu’une piscine à 4 km d’une des rivières offrant des eaux de baignade d’excellente qualité n’a pas de sens.  

Exclusivement non fumeur.
Les animaux de compagnie ne sont pas acceptés.

 Originally built in the 18th century, the house is located on a rural road, which served as the old main road between Gourdon and Sarlat in the Middle Ages. Balachou, which means ‘little broom’ in the local language, is the name of the house, and it sits on a property of approximately 4 ha made up of meadows and forests. 

On the first floor you have a living room, a dining room opening onto the terrace, a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven and gas stove), and a toilet. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms equipped with mosquito nets on the windows : 3 bedrooms with double (140 cm) beds, and 1 with a single (90 cm) bed. You will also find a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a small terrace accessible from 2 of the bedrooms. Note that you can ask us to configure one of the rooms as a room with the single bed (90 cm), or as a baby room with a pack n play bed.

Sheets, towels, dishcloths, etc. are provided and included in the rental price.

Outside on the large terrace you will find a garden table with its wooden chairs, an adjustable parasol, a Weber charcoal barbecue (type Ball) and relaxing armchairs. 

We can also provide a 4-person tent (decathlon arpenaz 4.1 fresh and black) for you to set up, just let us know. You’ll need to bring your own sleeping bags and foam mattresses if you feel like camping, but we do have a tent you can borrow!

There is no swimming pool…working in the field of water, we think that a swimming pool only 4 km from one of the rivers offering excellent quality swimming water does not make sense. 

No smoking, and no pets please.
